We send our sincerest gratitude to the Indviduals and organizations that have contributed to the Alligator Princess Production.
William Howard Solomon
April 23, 1951- September 20 2009
Mr. Solomon, attorney and long-time Mandarin resident, was a lover of nature and wildlife.
An avid outdoorsman, he was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor and an irrepressible spirit of adventure. With one of his many companies, "Outdoor Adventures", he often acted as an informative tour guide on kayaking excursions throughout the waterways of Florida. Mr. Soloman was also an active environmentalist as a member of The Riverkeepers, a non-profit advocacy group supporting the St. Johns river, as well as a strong promoter of historic preservation in the Jacksonville area
The Sierra Club is the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization, with over 700,000 members in 65 chapters and 408 groups nationwide. These individuals are using grassroots activism and community action to protect America’s environment, for our families, for our future.
The Central Florida Sierra Club Group comprises over 2,100 members in Orange, Seminole, Lake and Osceola Counties. We are part of the Florida Chapter of the National Sierra Club.
